| I am the youngest of two children. My parents
reside in Southern California. My older sister lives nearby and we
visit often. I have a daughter and a little Toy Fox Terrier dog.
What is most important in my life is being connected to family and close
friends. It's so easy to get caught up in the daily tasks and the "gotta
do's" that sometimes the most precious people in your life are placed on the
back burner. Never assume that they know you love them, tell them
often. |

| Experience The Edwards Associates - Executive
Assistant to the President
As the assistant to the president of this organization, I have relied
upon my training in management and human resources to provide me with the
organizational skills and insight to coordinate multiple projects
simultaneously and to follow them through to completion. My ability to
communicate is also critical as the liaison between the company and clients. |

| Travel Connoisseur - Certified Travel Counselor As a
travel counselor for one of the largest travel agencies in San Diego, I was
responsible for several major corporate travel accounts in addition to
planning leisure travel for individuals, tours, and groups. I also
worked in the Visa and passport department which obtained business and
leisure travel visas as well as passport renewals and amendments. |
1994-1998 |
| Mervyns Department Store - Operations Manager My
responsibilities included sales and production planning, human resource
management, internal audit, staffing, and training, receiving and fine
jewelry controls, loss prevention and bi-annual inventory. The
position was quite a challenge to my organizational skills as I was
responsible for all operational aspects of the store. This position
taught me that we are personally capable of accomplishing much more than the
self imposed limits we tend to place on ourselves. I also learned that
people work much better through inspiration, motivation, and example than by
criticism and demands. |

| The support and love from the people in the
institute are the most important things that I receive here. As a
result of this positive environment, I believe that I now have greater
confidence and self esteem. And most importantly, "I" like me more
now. |

than when I'm joking." Cary Grant as the angel Dudley in "the Bishops Wife"
People deliver messages in many ways. Be alert to words and don't dismiss
them because of the way they were delivered. Someone may be trying to
tell you something that's very important to them. |
