| I am the second oldest of four children. I have
two younger sisters and 1 older brother who has Downs Syndrome. I live
with and care for my brother along with one of my sisters. My other
sister also lives in San Diego and assists with some of the caretaking
duties. In my personal time I focus on furthering my education in computer
skills and keeping up on current events. I've been fascinated by
computers since high school where I specialized in computer science.
There happened to be a country wide computer contest which required that you
write a computer program to enter. I won the senior division of the
contest and received a computer as the prize. My personal goal is to
complete all of the data base management certifications available. |

Maintaining the network of computers for a corporation is a challenging
position. I focus on keeping our equipment current and up to date with the
constant technology advances. Unfortunately, due to the nature of
technology, much of my time is spent troubleshooting. |

| Hughes Networks Systems - Database Management My primary
responsibility was to review the database systems and generate reports.
I also was responsible for receiving materials and managing the stockroom. |

| The Institute The family environment
of this workplace makes it very easy to do my job, and get things done.
The general feeling here is so non-stressful compared to other companies and
positions. I find that I am able to sleep more and my health has improved.
In the past I have been too tired to pursue and extra curricular activities,
but I now have that energy to focus on my stuides. |
