I am the youngest of three brothers.  We are each about two and a half years apart.  Our parents made sure our motto growing up as brothers was the same as the Three Musketeers, "All for one and one for all."  Both my mom and dad were very encouraging and supportive of our extra-curricular activities.  My mom was each of us boy's Den Mother in Scouting and my dad was at almost every church sporting event I can remember.  They tried to make us feel safe and secure in our lives so we would have the courage to go after our dreams.  We are still very close now that we have all started our own families.

Spending time with my wife is so important - most important.  Whether it's working, relaxing, or having fun, the time together is the most important.  We exercise together.  We travel together. We help each other with our respective work.  We plot ways we would spend the money if we won the lottery.  We prepare things together for the children we teach at church.  We spend time with our baby (3 year old Chihuahua named Chispa).  We enjoy going to the movies and plays.  We also have a few regular series on TV that we have fun watching together.

Our relationship is the foundation for everything else I do in my life.

Experience

I have worked as an assistant for the Edwards Associates and my father since I could talk, my father being one of the founders and President.  I started off tallying data, then learning computer systems, then serving as an executive assistant, then as one on one interviewer, and finally as a Director of Spanish Speaking Projects.

I am now a full time entertainer.  While I do a bit of everything, the bulk of my work comes from musical theatre.  I started in college and then did some regional work, and since 1999 I have been a member of the Actors Equity Association, which is the professional union for theatre, as well as the Screen Actors Guild, which is its sister union for film and television actors.

Working my way up in responsibility in an organization is much the same as taking upon larger and more professional  roles as an actor.  As I grew in maturity and confidence my abilities increased as have my responsibilities.

The Institute principles have helped me understand the values associated with decision making.  That in turn has helped me understand the various characters I play on stage. I think I have a better understanding of why people act the way they do and that helps me to me to be more secure in my relationships and interactions with others.
