| "My immediate family consists of my beautiful,
immensely talented husband, James, and our gorgeous three-year old daughter
(a Chihuahua named Chispita Chiquitita). I am also surrounded by
family at work. Check out the other institute Bio's to see some other
important people in my life. They are all family! My parents
live here in California as do my older sister, Kristin, and my younger
brother, Ili. My younger sister, Karlene, lives with her family in
Georgia." The most important thing to me is spending time with my husband,
James. It has influenced all of the decisions that I have made,
including where I have chosen to work and live! My current position with the
Institute allows me the freedom to travel with my husband as he tours the
United States. (Currently he is with the 1st national tour of the musical
"Mamma Mia!"). When we are in town I drag both my husband and my dog
into the office with me. Not that is a great work environment! |

| I am Associate Director for the Institute for a
ValueCentered Life |
| My role at the Institute includes coordinating
all Spanish language efforts as well as managing various other domestic
tasks. My experience with fund development, non-profit institutions,
and event planning are all put to good use. The close proximity to family
and friends has allowed me a great deal of flexibility and freedom in both
my personal and professional lives. I am given the support and
resources that I need to explore and expand my horizons in any direction
that I choose. Having such a strong base of love and support has enabled me
to extend that same type of love and support to other individuals.
This is the kind of situation that enables the type of "pay it forward"
thinking and behavior that can change lives far into future generations. |
